Welcome to the web site of the Gibraltar Development Plan (Consultation Draft).

This site has been set up to allow as many people as possible to access information about the Draft Plan which is an important document and will influence the way Gibraltar develops over the next decade or so. It is important that people are aware of what it contains.

The Consultation Draft Gibraltar Development Plan has now been published and is available for public inspection and comment between 16th August and 16th October 2007

The Draft Plan is being publicly exhibited during the consultation period and an exhibition summarising the Plan is being held at the Casemates Exhibition Galleries. The exhibition opening times are as follows:

16th August to 16th October 2007 - 10am to 1pm, and 2:30pm to 5pm, Mondays to Fridays.

The Draft Plan has also been subjected to a Strategic Environmental Assessment to assess any potential significant
environmental impacts arising from the adoption of the Draft Plan. The outcome of this assessment has been published in the form of an Environmental Report that is also available for public inspection and comment. Click on the link on the menu above to download the Environmental Report.

If you wish to lodge an objection please use an objection form. You can download a form by clicking on the 'Objection form' link above.

Copies of the Draft Plan are available for inspection at the exhibition venue and at the offices of the Town Planning Division during normal working hours. In addition, copies of the Draft Plan have been supplied to the John Mackintosh Library.

Copies of the Draft Plan and Environmental Report are available for purchase, priced £20 per copy, from the offices of the Town Planning Division.
